The overnight price includes a continental breakfast and all taxes.

How to Get Here
Hostal Macondo is in the northwest part of Cuenca’s historical downtown, a bit too far to reach by foot from the bus station, but only a short taxi ride (about two dollars).
Or you can take any blue bus going downtown from Avenida España, directly outside the bus station’s main exit. Tell the driver you want to get off at Tarqui. From the corner of Tarqui and Mariscal Lamar, you will only have to walk half a block north to reach Macondo.
Policies
Policy of Hostal Macondo
Check out time is at 1:00 p.m. After this time you will be charged $ 1 for each extra hour up to 5pm.
Breakfast time is from 7am to 10am.
All guests must be registered at reception.
Access to rooms to unregistered visitors is not allowed except for outdoor areas.
If there is an extra person the cost will be charged to the customer.
If you wish to extend your stay please contact us 24 hours in advance.
If you have any valuables (jewelry, money, passports, tickets, etc..), please use the lamp table as a safty box.
The guest must keep their room doors and windows closed. Hostal Macondo is NOT responsible for personal losses incurred in the rooms.
NO Smoking in the rooms except in outdoor areas.
Any damage caused by guests to the hotel property will be paid by the guest.
The administration reserves the right to terminate the Accommodation Agreement if any of the above regulations are violated.
PAYMENT OF ACCOMMODATION
Guests must make payment of accommodation at CHECK IN.
CHANGES AND CANCELLATION OF HOTEL ROOMS

CANCELLATION POLICY
If you need to cancel your reservation, please consider the following:
Same day cancellation: You must pay for that day’s lodging.
One day in advance, you must pay 50% of lodging for one night.
Two day’s notice: No charge.
